What is Summer Boot Camp?

Summer Boot Camp is for learners identified needing extra reading, language and/or speech support. The increase in frequency of service is considered a form of intensive therapy. Summer Boot Camp will incorporate all aspects of your child’s unique learning profile into fun and engaging activities that will help your learner retain and strengthen their skills.

Services are provided 1:1 in a virtual setting.

What are the Requirements?

In order for your learner to qualify for Summer Boot Camp they must have one of the following documents:

• Individualized Education Plan with documented reading, language, and/or speech difficulties

• Red (well below benchmark) or yellow (below benchmark) DIBELS scores

• Neuropsychologist or School Psychologist Evaluation Report documenting reading or language difficulties

• Other equivalent documentation

• If your learner does not have documented reading difficulties, you can schedule a comprehensive evaluation with Simms Therapy Solutions.

Where will services take place?

All services provided virtually using Zoom or Google Meet. All sessions begin and end promptly at a mutually agreed scheduled time.

During virtual sessions, it is expected your child will be seated at a table or desk in a quiet, well-lit room. If a student logs in from a phone, in a car, or in a public, crowded, or noisy space, the session will be terminated and full rate will be charged.

When are service available?

Summer Boot Camp sessions are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday of the following weeks:

• June 24-26 SOLD OUT

• July 1-3

• July 15-17

• July 22-24

• July 29-31

How much does it cost?

Summer Boot Camp is $300 for three sessions each week. One week commitment is required, but learners can participate in more than one boot camp if desired.

A deposit of $100 is required to reserve your learners time slot. The remaining balance is due 24 hours before the first session. All services are private pay. I do not accept insurance at this time.
